What is Dokseed?

Dokseed is a lost & found corner for important documents. Finders can post blurred photos, and potential owners can contact them to arrange a safe return.

Why are document images blurred?

To protect privacy. We apply blur on the server before storage/display so sensitive details are not publicly readable.

How does sign-up work?

You can sign up using email or phone. We send a one-time password (OTP) to confirm ownership. OTPs expire and attempts are limited to prevent abuse.

Do you send marketing messages?

No. OTP is transactional only. We do not send promotional SMS or emails.

Is Dokseed available outside Cameroon?

We are starting in Cameroon (+237) and will expand as demand grows.

What safety tips should I follow?

• Be cautious—we don’t know every user personally.
• Never make payments to recover your document.
• We are not responsible for interactions that happen outside the app.
• Report suspicious chats using the Report button.
• Meet in public places and consider bringing a friend when collecting a document.

How do I report abuse?

Use the Report button in the chat or contact support@dokseed.com with details and screenshots.

How do I delete my data?

You can request deletion from within the app or via email. We will remove your account and posts, subject to legal requirements.
