1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Dokseed, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Purpose of the Service

Dokseed is a platform to connect finders of lost documents with potential owners. Images of documents are displayed in a blurred form to protect sensitive data.

3. Accounts & Security

• You must provide accurate information you own and control.
• OTP is used for authentication. Codes expire and have attempt limits.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and device access.

4. Acceptable Use

• No spam, fraud, harassment, or unlawful content.
• No posting unblurred images that expose sensitive data.
• No demands or requests for payment in exchange for returning a document.
• Respect others; use the Report button to flag suspicious behavior.

5. User Content

• You retain rights to content you post; you grant Dokseed a license to host and display it for the purpose of operating the service.
• You must have the right to upload any image you post.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

6. Safety & Disclaimers

• Be cautious. We do not know every user personally.
• Never make payments to recover a document.
• External interactions are your responsibility. Dokseed is not responsible for arrangements made outside the app.
• Always meet in safe, public places when coordinating returns.

7. Messaging

In-app chat is intended to coordinate returns only. We may use automated tools and moderation to reduce abuse.

8. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for others. Users may appeal a suspension through support.

9. Limitation of Liability

Dokseed is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or reputation arising from your use of the service.

10. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the service and these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice.
